My First Bad eBay Transaction
On August 9th my mom propositioned me for a new pair of running shoes. I got on my eBay app on my iPhone and found a pair of Brook's Launch for 70.00. I purchased them immediately as the seller had 100% positive feedback. I received an email shortly there after with the following message: "Hi, PayPal is being strange with their new policies, I need to order these shoes from the manufacturer, could you please leave positive feedback so I can order the shoes and in return I will hook you up with fast shipping." I sent a very concerning but complying email in response and left feedback. 20 minutes later I received an email notification from PayPal indicating that a shipping label had been prepared for my package. It has been almost 3 weeks and the shoes have still yet to come in. I filed a case against the seller with eBay and PayPal on Monday and as of today I have received a full refund including shipping fees. All this after multiple unanswered emails to the seller.
